Re-Opening FAQs

We are VERY excited to be re-opening with a BANG on Fourth of July weekend!  It has been a LOOOONNGG time coming and our staff is very anxious to get back to what they love – serving up great drinks, food and music for all of our George Jones fans!  We have safety measures in place:

                                  

HOURS 
  • At this time ONLY the George Jones Museum and Rooftop will be re-opening)  Please stay tuned to our social media platforms and website for information on our first floor Smokehouse re-opening.
  • We are currently ONLY opening 4 days a week and will be closed Monday- Wednesday until further notice.

Here are the hours for the upcoming two weeks:

Friday July 3rd – RE OPENING!  Museum 11am -8pm  Rooftop 11am -Midnight.  Kitchen closes at 10pm.
Saturday July 4th – Museum 11am – 8pm  Rooftop 11am-Midnight.  Kitchen closes at 10pm
Sunday July 5th – Museum 11am -8pm Rooftop 11am-Midnight.  Kitchen closes at 10pm.
Monday July 6th – VENUE CLOSED INCLUDING MUSEUM.
Tuesday July 7th – VENUE CLOSED INCLUDING MUSEUM.
Wednesday July 8th – VENUE CLOSED INCLUDING MUSEUM.
Thursday July 9th – Museum 11am- 8pm  Rooftop 11am- 10pm.  Kitchen closes at 10pm.
Friday July 10th  – Museum 11am-8pm Rooftop 11am-Midnight.  Kitchen closes at 10pm.
Saturday July 11th – Museum 11am-8pm Rooftop 11am-Midnight.  Kitchen closes at 10pm.
Sunday July 12th – Museum 11am-8pm.  Rooftop 11am- Midnight.  Kitchen closes at 10pm.
Are you taking reservations?   No, the roof is first-come first served.  This goes for July 4th as well!  Phase 3 of Nashville’s Re-Opening plan details 75% capacity and we will be STRONGLY adhering to that -so arrive early.
Please observe social distancing rules.  Masks are also mandated in Davidson County by the city which includes Downtown Nashville.
No mask. No entry. 

What does the mask order mean?

The order requires masks/face coverings be worn when in indoor and outdoor public spaces. Violations of the order are a Class C misdemeanor.

How many people allowed at a table? 
No more than 6 people per table. If you have more than six people in your party you will be split into two tables.
Can we see the fireworks?
There is NO GUARANTEE that there will be views of the city fireworks show.
A few other reminders about the July 4th celebration next week. There will be a fireworks show, but it will be shortened to several minutes in length. The city has put together an hour-long broadcast of Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th presented by Dr Pepper to celebrate Independence Day and, this year, honor healthcare and frontline workers.  While we strongly discourage crowds from gathering. Riverfront Park will be closed.
Is there a cost or minimum for a table on the 4th?
No, there will be no reservations on the 4th, it will be a first come-first-served event.  Phase 3 of Nashville’s Re-Opening plan details 75% capacity and we will be STRONGLY adhering to that -so arrive early.  Please observe social distancing rules.  Masks are also now mandated in Davidson County by the city which includes Downtown Nashville.  NO MASK. How late are you serving food?
Our kitchen closes at 10pm everyday.
Is there an age limit?
No!  All ages are welcome!
Can we dance?
We will have LIVE MUSIC from open to close.  . .but dancing is not allowed as mandated by the city.
Are you a “Good to Go” establishment?

Yes! We are proud to be a part of the @VisitMusicCity Good to Go safety program. Your health & safety is important to us so we’ve taken extra steps for you to feel safe & sound in Music City. We are Good to Go!
