As one of Music City’s best rooftops, the Rooftop Bar at The George Jones is the perfect spot to hang out while immersing yourself in the Nashville scene. Whether it’s cooling off with a cold one, enjoying a bite to eat from our Smokehouse menu, or dancing along to the country band on stage, the Rooftop Bar never disappoints. Between views of the Cumberland River and the Downtown skyline, guests are completely surrounded by all things Nashville. This space houses an expansive bar, plenty of room to move, and unbeatable views, naming it one of the cities hidden gems.

The sweeping view of the Cumberland River provides an unbeatable backdrop to your evening spent at The George Jones. After being voted one of Nashville’s Best Rooftop Bars by Thrillist and named one of the country’s Best Rooftop Bars to View the Solar Eclipse in 2017 by CNN, the rooftop bar at The George Jones is a spectacle you’ll have to see to believe.

Our Smokehouse menu is now available on our rooftop; the menu puts a Southern twist on everyday favorites with clever combinations and savory flavors. Crowd pleasers include the Nashville Hot Chicken Bites, Pretzel Bites, and Smoked Brisket Sandwich. Wash your meal down with our famous Nashville Lemonade or even an adult slushie during the hot summer months.

Nashville landmarks that can be seen from the rooftop include: Nissan Stadium, the AT&T building and the Downtown skyline, the Cumberland River, the Pedestrian Bridge, the “Ghost Ballet for the East Machineworks” art sculpture on the river, and Riverfront Park—to name a few. In early June, The George Jones directly overlooks the Riverfront Stage during the weekend of CMA Fest.
